Perhaps, outside of Creation itself, the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ stands as the most monumental event in the history of our world. If it were not for the cross and resurrection, we would have no hope of eternal life.
My passion for us as a church this year is to spend the five weeks before Easter concentrating on Jesus’s last week on earth. My goal is not only to help us have a better understanding of the events, but also to connect to our Savior on a deeper level, as Paul wrote, “that I may know him and the power of his resurrection” (Phil. 3:10).
My hope and prayer is that you can join us for each Sunday of the “Eggs of Easter” culminating with our Easter celebration on April 16.
